People often ask us, “What does Imm mean?”
In Thai, อิ่ม (Imm) means full — not just full as in “I’ve eaten enough,” but full in the best possible way: full stomach, full heart, full life.
To us, a good day always ends the same way — with a full belly and a good night’s sleep. That’s the Thai way of happiness.
Feeding People Is Our Love Language
In Thailand, food isn’t just something you eat — it’s how we care for one another.
If a friend stops by, we feed them. If family comes over, we cook too much on purpose. When someone leaves our house, we make sure they’re not hungry.
That’s the feeling behind Imm. It’s the way we grew up — surrounded by the aroma of curry simmering on the stove, the sound of woks sizzling, and the quiet joy of sharing a meal.
So when we started Imm Thai Cuisine, we wanted to bring that same warmth to our tables here in Canada. We want you to feel at home, to eat well, and to leave full — in every sense of the word.
The Story Behind Our Logo
If you look closely at our logo, you’ll see the Thai word อิ่ม, stylized as a playful piece of art.

It’s not just a word — it’s also a little picture. See how it looks like a person leaning back, happily full, resting on a chair after a satisfying meal? That’s exactly how we want you to feel after dining with us.
Relaxed. Content. Overfilled… in the best way possible.
Bringing Thai Hospitality to Your Table
Thai food culture is all about generosity, balance, and joy. Meals are shared, flavors are balanced, and every dish is made with care.
At Imm, we bring those same values to your table — thoughtful dishes, cooked with love, and served the way we would serve our guests back home.
Whether it’s a comforting bowl of Chicken Coconut Soup, a vibrant Wing Bean Salad, or a fragrant Massaman Beef Curry, every bite is a little piece of our story — and an invitation to feel at home with us.
That’s what Imm means to us. It’s not just a name — it’s a promise.
When you dine with us, we hope you leave with more than a full stomach. We hope you leave อิ่มใจ — “full in your heart,” too.
